Make a donation
Much of our fundraising comes from generous individuals and community groups who donate their time or money to help our cause.
To maintain the high quality of our community services, it is vital for us to run fundraising and support programs. Tax-deductible donations are another way of enabling us to continue serving the Burdekin community with excellence.
Every donor is treated with confidentiality and we have strict policies in place to ensure details remain private. We are grateful for all the support we receive and will never ask our supporters for more assistance than they are able to offer. Donations of $2.00 or more are tax deductible.

Making a bequest
A bequest is a gift made through your Will, and can be made in the form of a specific dollar amount, property, a percentage of your estate, or all or a portion of what remains ofter you have provided for your family.
Any bequest made to BCA will be used to operate a wide range of services, programs and activities, work to attract needed services to the district and cooperates with kindred organisations. Many of our initiatives are facilitated by the generosity of service clubs, private supports, philanthropic grants and the Burdekin Shire Council.
To support BCA after your lifetime, your will must use the following wording:
I __________ herby bequeath the amount of $______ to the Burdekin Community Association Inc. for the general purposes thereof and I direct that the receipt of the person authorised to receive moneys on behalf of the Burdekin Community Association Inc. shall be sufficient discharge to my Trustee and shall absolve my Trustee from the necessity of seeing to the application thereof.’
For futher information about making a bequeath please contact our office to address any concerns or queries you may have about such an important decision.
